BUTLER — Jane L. Boyce, 79, of Butler, died Sunday, June 5, 2011, in Knox Community Hospital following a short illness.

She was born June 24, 1931, in Merrill, Wis., the daughter of John and Myrtle (Schnakenburg) Anderson. She married Gerald D. “Jerry” Boyce on Nov. 24, 1951.

Survived by her husband; daughter, Lynn (Robert) Hull; son, Steven (Angela) Boyce; daughter-in-law, Janice Boyce; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Wolf, Kay Moore; and extended family.

Preceded in death by her parents; a son, Calvin Boyce; a great-grandson, Aaron Hull; three brothers, John, Bob, Lee Anderson; and a sister, Mary Thone.

Friends may call Wednesday from 6-7 p.m. in the community room of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Bellville. Memorial service will follow in the sanctuary at 7 p.m. The Rev. Douglas J. Pretorius will officiate. Interment at a later date in Workman Cemetery, Danville.
