HOWARD — Barbara Ellen (Bautner) Duling, 71, of Daffodil Drive, Howard, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 10, 2011, following a lengthy illness.
She was born Oct. 2, 1939, in Staunton, Ind., to the late Otis L. and Alice M. (Adams) Bautner. She married Lloyd Duling on Aug. 4, 1978, who survives. She enjoyed working with crafts, and sharing the company of her church family from Colonial City Baptist Church in Bangs.
She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Duling of Howard; a son, Bradley Clark of Columbus, Ind.; a daughter, Penny Eddings of Oswego, Mich.; three stepdaughters, Debbie Moore of Howard, and Susan (Mike) McNichols and Sonya Wright, both of Mount Vernon; a stepdaughter-in-law, Paula Duling of Coshocton; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joan (Clyde) Huff of Imperial, Calif., and Vera Caldwell of Little Rock, Ark.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a stepson, Jeffrey Duling; a grandson, Kris Casteel; and a granddaughter, Alicia Lucas.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 15, at 11 a.m. at the Colonial City Baptist Church (The Church at Chapel Hill) in Bangs, 7530 Johnstown Road, Mount Vernon, with Pastor Dan Whisner officiating.
