DELAWARE — Earl G. “Red” Condit, 90, of Delaware, formerly of Sunbury, passed away June 10, 2011.
Earl was born March 20, 1921, in Condit to the late Milo J. and Estella (Baker) Condit. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He worked at Nestlé’s and retired from General Motors.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Julia F. (Hartsook); children, Lynn (Michael) Whetstone, Gary (Rita) Condit, Nancy (Jim) Herbert; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Verna Mae Belcher; nieces, nephews.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Violet Lee, Donna Fox; and brothers, Eldon and Milo.
Friends may call Tuesday, 11 a.m. to noon, at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury, where service will follow at noon, with the Rev. Brian Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Trenton Cemetery with military honors provided by the Delaware County Association.
