MANSFIELD — Susan H. Crawford, 64, passed into the arms of her Savior, Saturday, June 18, 2011, after a six-month battle with cancer.
Born Susan Howell on Nov. 15, 1946, in Madison, W.Va., she was the daughter of Homer and Susan (Doss) Howell. She taught English in the Madison School System.
Survived by her husband, Murvil Crawford; three children, Catherine Crawford, Kevin (Terry) Crawford and Tom (Susan) Crawford; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Victoria Lynn (John) Franks; and cherished friends.
Preceded in death by a stillborn daughter, Laura Elaine Crawford.
Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home. The service will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in First Alliance Church, 291 W. Cook Road, Mansfield. The Rev. Jim Cheatham will officiate and burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
