MOUNT VERNON — Eugenia Rae Everhart-Swint, 47, of Locust Street, Mount Vernon, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at the Knox Community Hospital.

She was born Dec. 28, 1963, in Mount Vernon to Dale and Deborah (Miller) Everhart. Eugenia was employed as a waitress at McDonalds and Blands Restaurants here locally.

She is survived by her husband, David Swint Sr.; her mother, Deborah Everhart of Howard; and two brothers, John (Jodi Allen) Everhart of Danville and Bud Everhart of Springfield, Mo.

Eugenia was preceded in death by her daughter, McKayla Clark; and her father, Dale Everhart Sr.

There will be no calling hours. The family will observe a graveside service in Forest Cemetery on Saturday, June 25, beginning at 11 a.m. with Pastor Terry McLaughlin officiating. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home is honored to have been chosen to serve the family of Eugenia Rae Everhart-Swint.
