LOUDONVILLE — Robert H. Sperling, 79, of Loudonville, died Sunday, June 26, 2011, at MedCentral in Mansfield.

Robert was born Dec. 9, 1931, in Iron Mountain, Mich., to John and Olive (White) Sperling. Robert was employed in the industrial printing business and was a former employee of Continental Can Co. in Mount Vernon.

Surviving are his children, Sharon Gibb of Mount Vernon, Jeffrey (Pam) Sperling of Westerville, Gay Nell (Joe) Seymour of Loudonville, Suzanne Wolf of Pennsylvania and Jacqueline (Larry) Clark of Texas; 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a nephew, Robert D. Hines, who made his home with Robert.

Besides his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a son, Lamar Sperling; a brother, Raymond Sperling; and a sister, Pearl Hines.

The family will observe private services.
