BELLVILLE — Royal Ronald Grubb, 77, of Bellville, died Monday, July 4, 2011, in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital.
He was born June 17, 1934, near North Liberty to Walter and Anna (Wiggins) Grubb. He was drafted into the Army in 1954 and served two years. He worked as an appraiser for Peoples Federal Bank and also retired from Barnes Pumps.
Survived by his wife, Sandra (Metcalf) Grubb; sisters, Norma (Bud) Bemiller and Lois (Gerald) Hamman; sister-in-law, Pat Ryder; nieces, Julie Dillon and Peggy Randolph; nephew, Chip Chipner; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving son, Kevin Grubb; and nephew, Michael Smith.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 8, at 3 p.m. in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home, where friends may call the hour prior, from 2 to 3 p.m. Pastor Charlene Arthur will officiate. Burial will follow in Ankneytown Cemetery.
