GAMBIER — Annie “Anna” Miller, 82, of Gambier, passed away July 7, 2011, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

She was born Feb. 22, 1929, in Huntsburg to the late Sam C. and Elizabeth F. Miller. Anna was a member of the Melita Fellowship Church in Utica.

She is survived by her five children, Sam E. Miller of Lobelville, Tenn., Mattie E. Miller of Gambier, John E. (Teresa) Miller of Greenville, Va., Jonas E. Miller of Utica and Andy E. Miller of Gambier; her brothers and sisters, Mary Miller of Middlefield, Cora Miller of Sarasota, Fla., Levi (Eva) Miller of Mechanicstown, Samuel (Mattie) Miller Jr. of Belize, Ferdinand Miller of Shiloh, Elizabeth Weaver of Mio, Mich., and Sarah (Lester) Hostetler of West Farmington; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Eli J.S. Miller; daughter, Ella E. Miller; brothers, John S. Miller, Joseph S. Miller, Christian S. Miller and David S. Miller; and sisters, Fannie Byler and Kathryn Shupp.

Friends may call today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Melita Fellowship Church, where funeral services will be held Sunday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Alan Byler officiating. Burial will follow in Martinsburg Amish Cemetery. The Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home is handling the funeral arrangements for the Miller family.
