BUTLER — Faye Hunter Stake Huddle, 96, of Brethren Care Nursing Center in Ashland, formerly of Butler, died Sunday, July 10, 2011. She was born June 12, 1915, to Leon and Fern Hunter.

Her first husband, Paul Stake preceded her in death. They had four children, James Stake, Joyce Lewis, Mary Strine and Beth Wood. Her second husband, Paul Huddle also preceded her in death. His children are Raymond, Eugene, John, Martha Denny and Carol Huddle.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husbands; one brother, Eugene Hunter; two sisters, Ila Leedy and Irene Darling; her son, James Stake Sr.; and two grandchildren, James Stake Jr. and Andrea Stake.

Faye leaves behind her three daughters and their husbands, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends may call Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home, where funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. Pastor Roger Hayes and Chaplain Chris Wilson will officiate. Burial will follow in North Liberty Cemetery.
