FREDERICKTOWN — Luella “Dutch” Rae (Pack) Kegley Currence, 79, of Johnsville, died Sunday, July 24, 2011, at Galion Pointe.

She was born Aug. 22, 1931, to parents Birch E. and Sylvia Mae (Hoover) Pack in Shelby. Although she worked for many years at Cosmo Plastics and later at Red Lobster, her true calling was to be a wife and homemaker.

Survived by her husband, Wilson J. “Buck” Currence of Fredericktown; daughters, LaVerne (Keith) Bunker, Lynda (Michael) Ricker, Sally J. Kegley and Betty Lewis; brother, James Pack; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and extended family.

Preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Vernon Ray Kegley; siblings, Cecei Adkins, Helen Cline, Peggy Troupe, John “Bill” Pack and Artie Pack.

Friends may call Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. Pastor Joseph Stafford will officiate and burial will follow in Shauck Cemetery.
