SHARON, Pa. — Eva H. Belul, 92, died Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at the Sharon Regional Hospital, Sharon, Pa., after a six-year illness of Alzheimer’s.
She was born, with her twin brother, Adam, to Frank and Helen (Waelfel) Kizler, in Louisville, Ohio. Prior to moving to her daughter’s home in Brookfield, Eva was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Mount Vernon.
Eva and her husband, John, were the owners of the Corner Grill for 47 years. She was a wonderful homemaker, great cook, and created beautiful dolls, which she generously donated. She loved her yard, flowers, and spent her last few months, peacefully sitting on the back porch, under the trees.
She is survived by daughters, Geraldine Belul–McElliott (Dwight), and Rebecca Richert; grandchildren, Kevin Cross, Holly Farone (Foster), Qani Belul (Dawn), and Sherry Richert Belul; great-grandchildren, Tara Kirkland, Nicole Kirkland, Madison Cross and Kayne Belul; favorite caregiver, Wes Knapp; and special friends, Helen Dimitroff and Bob Kayne.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her good husband of 55 years, John; her three brothers; and her two sisters.
A funeral service will be held Friday, July 29, at 1 p.m. at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home, Mount Vernon. Burial will be in Mound View Cemetery.
