BELLVILLE — Larry “Snuffy” Hoeflich, 78, of Bellville, died Saturday, July 23, 2011, in Emeritus at HillenVale in Mount Vernon.
He was born Aug. 3, 1932, to Avery “Jake” and Harriet (Snavely) Hoeflich. He served in the U.S. Army and traveled all over the U.S. working as a foreman and crane operator for Lee Turzillo and Purdy Construction Co.
Survived by daughters, Melodie (Artie) Wolford of Butler, Gina (Gerald) Stillion of Bellville and Terri (Brian) Pfahler of Southern California; eight grandchildren; brothers, Charles Hoeflich, Gary (Kay) Hoeflich and Jerry (Linda) Hoeflich; sister-in-law, Carol Hoeflich; sisters, Rosealie (Joe) Marker and Linda Cole; and extended family.
Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Norma (Sieber); brothers, Tom Hoeflich and Jim Hoeflich; and sister-in-law, Georgia Hoeflich.
Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home, where funeral service will be Friday at 11 a.m. Dr. Tim Davis will speak. Burial in Bellville Cemetery.
