CENTERBURG — Thomas Earl Klusty, 77, of Centerburg, passed away unexpectedly July 24, 2011.

He was born to the late William and Lorna (Wilson) Klusty on July 15, 1934, in Sharon Center. Thomas proudly served and retired from the U.S. Air Force as a technical sergeant. Tom was proud of being baptized at Eastpointe Christian Church when he was 72.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, William and Daniel Klusty; and son-in-law, Brooke Heskett.

He is survived by his children, Thomas David (Elaine) Klusty of Belleville, Rhonda Breckenridge of Athens County, Shannon Heskett of Blacklick, Gary Klusty of Westerville; grandchildren, Chance (Amber) Breckenridge of British Columbia, Emily, Brenna and Derek Heskett, Toby, Zach and Brandon Klusty, and Amanda and Nicole White; great-grandchildren, Darius and Hunter Breckenridge; sisters, Barbara (Bob) Johnson, Marjorie (Lantz) Newman and Lorna (Kevin) Scanlon; brothers, Ted Klusty, Karol (Jeanette) Klusty, David Klusty, Jerry (Sandy) Klusty, Ron (Diane) Klusty, Fred (Marcia) Klusty, Bob (Julie) Klusty and Louie (Kim) Klusty; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A visitation will be held at the Pfeifer Funeral Home, Reynoldsburg, on Thursday, July 28, from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m. with a pastor from Vineyard Columbus officiating. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. at the Renner’s St. Paul UCC Cemetery, Baltic.
