MANSFIELD — Dorothy Guntharp, 84, died Thursday, July 28, 2011, in Crestwood Care Center of Shelby.
Born March 6, 1927, in Mansfield to George J. and Ivy (Cushing) Kuelling, she graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 1945. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and yard work, and was a member of Grace Episcopal Church.
Survived by daughter, Shelly (Sam) Adams of Chickamauga, Ga.; her son, Brian (Dena) Guntharp of Kansas City, Mo.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Charlene Hupp, Mary Baney and Dianne Rooke; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Doyle Guntharp; sister, Margaret Warden; and brother, Ernie Kuelling.
Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Finefrock Chapel of the Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home, 350 Marion Ave., where funeral service will be Monday at 11 a.m. The Rev. David S. Sipes will officiate. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
