LUCAS — Richard “Dick” Pitcher, 69, died Friday, Aug. 5, 2011, in Hospice of North Central Ohio.

Born Sept. 9, 1941, in Binghamton, N.Y., Dick served a four-year apprenticeship with Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 58, and worked 33-plus years as a sheet metal worker, retiring in 1999 from Union Local 33.

Survived by his wife, Marjorie A. (Martin) Pitcher; daughter, Pamela (David) White; son, Jeffrey (Cheryl) Pitcher; five grandchildren; brothers, Robert (Peg) Pitcher and James David Pitcher; stepsisters and nieces and nephews.

His parents, G. Kenneth Pitcher and D. Lucille (Newlon) Pitcher Dummitt, are deceased.

Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home. A worship service will be Monday at 11 a.m. in Lucas Foursquare Church, 53 Lucas North Road, Lucas, with Pastor Darin Stambaugh officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
