MOUNT VERNON — Willie D. “Billie” Budrow, 79, of Mount Vernon and Warner Robbins, Ga., died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011, at the home of her daughter in Mount Vernon.
Billie was born Feb. 26, 1932, in Lynnville, Tenn., to Chester and Grace (Reeves) Collins Sr. and graduated from Lynnville High School. She retired, as a dispatcher, from the Houston County, Ga., 9-1-1 Emergency Services.
Surviving are her husband, Earl “Sib” Budrow; daughters, Debbie (David) Briscoe of Gambier and Jacki (Jim) Beach of Mount Vernon; son, Michael (Marsha) Budrow of Warner Robbins, Ga.; grandchildren, Nate Bright, Leslie Beach, Kimberly (Travis Ritter) Briscoe, Matt Briscoe, Corey (Katie) Beach, Charlie Oliver, Michael Budrow, Brittany Budrow and Justin Budrow; six great-grandchildren; her brother, Joe (Doris) Collins of California; sisters, Pat (Sam) Hollis, Lois (Tom) Wilburn and Shirley Ricks, all of Tennessee, and Melba Verna of Texas; and sister-in-law, Sandra (Kenny) Pepka of Connecticut.
Besides her parents, Billie was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Joe Oliver; grandson, Ronald J. Oliver; her sister, Jean Stoner; and her brothers, Chester Collins Jr., Robert Collins, Russell Collins, Jimmy Collins and Wallace Collins.
There will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be held Saturday, Aug. 20, at 10 a.m. in Mound View Cemetery, Mount Vernon.
