BUCYRUS — Larry Earl Hunter, 72, of Bucyrus, died Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011, at the Crestwood Care Center in Shelby.

Larry was born Oct. 21, 1938, in Knox County the son of the late Raymond and Ida (Sesser) Hunter. He was a 1956 graduate of Homer High School and was a U.S. Navy veteran. Larry was employed by Cooper Industries having worked at their location in Mount Vernon and then transferring to Los Angeles. When he moved back to Ohio, Larry worked at Sam’s Club in Ontario for many years.

He is survived by his brothers, Raymond Lee Hunter of Mount Vernon and Bruce C. Hunter of Shelby.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Milton Hunter and John Hunter; and a sister, Marcella Davy.

Friends may call Sunday, Aug. 21, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 W. Main St., Shelby. Graveside services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Brandon Cemetery in Brandon. Military honors will be conducted by Knox County Joint Veterans Council.
