DANVILLE — Amy L. Oyster, 39, of Danville, died Thursday. Aug. 25, 2011, at the Country Court Nursing Center in Mount Vernon.

Amy was born Sept. 18, 1971, in Ashland to Orval and Marjorie (Browning) Oyster, and was a 1989 graduate of Clear Fork High School. She had been employed as a beautician.

Surviving are her mother of Danville; her maternal grandfather, William Browning; sister, Tara Oyster; and brothers, Martin Oyster, Jack “B.J.” Oyster and Travis (Tami) Oyster. She was preceded in death by her father; sister, “Thumper” Oyster; maternal grandmother, Ruth Browning; and paternal grandparents, Orval and Jean Oyster.

There will be no calling hours. The family will observe a private memorial service at a later date.
