FRONT ROYAL, Va. — Nancy Mallonee Pealer, 67, of Front Royal, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011, in Front Royal.

A funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Willis Chapel United Methodist Church in Huntly, Va., conducted by the Rev. Sara Keeling. Interment will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown. Arrangements in Ohio are being handled by Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pealer was born Sept. 5, 1943, in Annapolis, Md., daughter of the late Ralph L. and Margaret Louise Davidson Mallonee. She was a graduate of James Madison High School in Vienna, Va. She worked at J’s Gourmet in Front Royal and had been a teller for Wells Fargo in Front Royal for over 20 years. She participated in many Relay for Life activities and was a member of Willis Chapel United Methodist Church in Huntly.

She is survived by her husband, Dean Pealer; a daughter, Cynthia Louise Barrett of Front Royal; a brother, Ralph L. Mallonee of Ocala, Fla.; a sister, Susan Schneider of Front Royal; two grandchildren, Ashton Hoffman and Pricilla Merchant; and a mother-in-law, Leta Pealer of Mount Vernon.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7 until 9 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 400 Holiday Court, Suite 101, Warrenton, VA 20186.
