MOUNT GILEAD — Howard A. “Peanut” Fuson, 56, of 5273 Township Road 111, Mount Gilead, died unexpectedly Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, in Mount Vernon.

Peanut was born in Fairbanks, Alaska, on June 21, 1955, to Howard Fuson, Mount Gilead, and Beverly (Offerle) Fox, Mount Vernon. He was employed by PACS Industries in Mount Vernon. Peanut enjoyed music and playing guitar, riding his Harley-Davidson, fishing and his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his three daughters, Melissa (Jason) Bullock, Amy Miller and Vanessa Fuson, all of Mount Vernon; his fiancée, Denise Monk, Mount Gilead, and her daughter, Jessica Monk of Mount Vernon; nine grandchildren; and his brother, Kevin (Vicki) Fuson, Galion.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Kris Fuson.

Friends may call Thursday, Sept. 8, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Crestline. Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 9, at 11 a.m. at Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Crestline, with the Rev. Jeff Pennington officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Crestline.
