SUNBURY — Harry H. Hubbard, 85, of Sunbury died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011.

Born in Hebron on Dec. 1, 1925, he was a son of the late James and Georgia (Rosenbaum) Hubbard. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. For over 35 years he worked at Galena Shale Tile & Brick Co.

Survivors are sons, Phillip, Carl and Thomas; daughters, Alice Sheets of Centerburg, Tena Stringer; son-in-law, Larry Jones; daughter-in-law, Edna Hubbard Stanley; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Carl Hubbard, Lawrence Hubbard; sisters, Mary Clark, Ruby Helton and Lola Page.

Preceded in death by wife, Mary Alice (Duncan); son, Audry Hubbard; daughter, Arnetta Jones; brother, Dallas Hubbard; and sister, Juanita Phillips.

Friends may call Sunday 2-6 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury, where services will be Monday at 11 a.m. with Hospice Chaplain Tom Myers officiating. Burial will follow in Galena Cemetery.
