MARENGO — Loraine Lewis, 86, of Marengo, died Monday, Sept. 19, 2011, at Country View of Sunbury.
She was born Oct. 26, 1924, in Nutter Fort, W.Va., to the late Roscoe and Clara (Messenger) Russell. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and assisted her husband with the family roofing business.
Survived by children, Linda (Don) Blair, Steve (Debbie) Lewis, Connie (Tim) Fitzpatrick; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; brother, Fred Russell; and sister-in-law, Mary Russell.
Preceded in death by husband, Carroll; son, Freddie; daughter, Karen; brothers, R. “Earl” and Clifford Russell; sister, Gladys Thomas.
Friends may call Thursday from 6-9 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Morrow Bible Church, 423 County Road 204, Centerburg, with Pastors Michael Herbert and Marvin Gassman officiating.
