LOGAN — Nancy Ann (Fulton) Turner, 53, of Walnut-Dowler Road, Logan, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011, at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Nov. 11, 1957, in Mount Vernon to the late Robert and Jean (Mayne) Fulton. Nancy retired in 2007 after 30 years of employment in the engineering department for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. She was a member of the Logan AMVETS 1776 and the Loyal Order of Moose in Logan. Nancy will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Michael Turner; a stepdaughter, Stephanie Turner of Minnesota; a brother, Charles (Diane) Fulton of Mount Vernon; four sisters, Jeannette (J. Richard) McConnell of Marysville, Joanne Hewitt of Columbus, Janice Fulton of Newark and Judith Scott of Mount Vernon; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Calvin Fulton and Samuel Fulton.
A memorial service will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Logan AMVETS 1776, 649 Radio Lane, Logan. There will be a memorial service scheduled for a later date in Mount Vernon. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of Nancy Ann (Fulton) Turner.
