MANSFIELD — Elma M. Harrison, 97, died Friday, Sept. 23, 2011, in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital.

Born Elma M. Lane on Dec. 18, 1913, in Newark to Clarence and Dorothy Lane, she met her husband while working at Westinghouse. She was the oldest member of First Church of the Brethren on Grace Street.

Survived by children, Ken Harrison, Garry Harrison, Karen Jourdan, Phyllis Brezina, Carol Bumpus; three stepdaughters; 15 grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and sister Lillian Light.

Preceded in death by husband, Russell B. Harrison; son, Charles Brown; stepdaughter, Eleanor Kirkpatrick; and daughter-in-law, Cleo Harrison.

Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Finefrock Chapel of the Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home, where funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. Pastor Linda Lewis will officiate. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
