SANTA ANA, Calif. — John T. “Tom” Head, of Santa Ana, Calif., went home to our heavenly father, Sept. 24, 2011.

John started working for Cooper Bessemer and completed 42 successive years of service. After a short retirement, he completed 17 years of service at one of his favorite places, Knott’s Berry Farm.

He is survived by his wife, Bridgett; his sons, Michael, Mark (Tanya), Thomas (Connie), Lee (Naomi); and his five grandchildren, Caolan, Shaughn, Shelby, Kyrsten and Ryan. He is also survived by his brother, Lawrence (Laverne); and his sister, Sandra (Bob).

Visitation and vigil service were Wednesday at Brown Colonial Mortuary, Santa Ana, Calif. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated this morning at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 17270 Ward St., Fountain Valley, CA 92708. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, Orange.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to the American Heart Association in Tom’s memory. The Brown Colonial Mortuary is assisting the family.
