MANSFIELD — Lewis E. Stambaugh, 93, of Mansfield, died Oct. 5, 2011, in Liberty Nursing Center.

He was born Dec. 5, 1917, in Mansfield, to Lawrence E. and Lola M. (Weatherby) Stambaugh. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran; and worked at White Westinghouse, retiring in 1976.

Surviving are sons, Larry Stambaugh, Paul Stambaugh Sr., Gary Stambaugh; daughter, Shirley Heimberger; 13 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Richard “Dick” Stambaugh; and sister, Dorothy Sistek.

Deceased are first wife, Marjorie M. Davis Stambaugh; second wife, Ann W. Forrest Stambaugh; and third wife, Ina P. Lanning Stambaugh; sister, Ruth N. Shirkey; a granddaughter; a great-grandson.
