CENTERBURG — Justina Abigail Williams, 20, of Centerburg passed away Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
She was born July 14, 1991, in Greenville, Pa., daughter of Christopher B. and Robyn J. (Dillon) Williams of Centerburg. Justina was a 2009 graduate of Centerburg High School, where she played on the golf team and in the band all four years. After high school, she continued her education at the Mount Vernon Nazarene University, pursuing a career in nursing. She was a member of the Willow Grove Advent Church in Mount Liberty and served as the Youth Leader. Justina enjoyed traveling around the country and the world, Cinderella stories, and romantic comedies. She was very quiet and shy, but could speak volumes with a single sentence. Justina loved the Lord.
In addition to her parents, Justina is survived by her brothers, Todd Williams of Lynchburg, Va., and Chad Williams of New Orleans, La.; maternal grandmother, Lois (Orval) Richardson of Pierce, Ariz.; maternal stepgrandmother, Joan Dillon of Beaverton, Ore.; paternal grandparents, Eugene and Barbara Williams of Kinsman; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Oct. 12, from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home, 201 Newark Road, Mount Vernon.
A funeral service celebrating the life of Justina will be held at Thursday, Oct. 13, at 10:30 a.m. at the R.R. Hodges Chapel on the campus of the Mount Vernon Nazarene University, 800 Martinsburg Road, Mount Vernon. A graveside service will be held Friday, Oct. 14, at 1 p.m. at the Kinsman Cemetery in Kinsman, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Justina Williams Memorial Fund, c/o Cadence International, P.O. Box 1268, Englewood, CO 80150, with account No. 10776 in the memo line of the check.
