BELLVILLE — Tanda Lynn Durig, 56, of Mansfield, died Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011, in Liberty Nursing Center following an extended illness.

She was born June 20, 1955, in Mansfield, the daughter of Fred E. and Violet Mae (Simmons) Durig. A lifetime area resident, Tanda worked at the Ashland Road McDonald’s and Newhope Industries. Tanda enjoyed bowling and participated in the Special Olympics.

Survived by two brothers, Leonard (Theresa) Durig of Mansfield and Kevin (Wendy) Durig of Bremerton, Wash.; along with nieces and nephews, Haleigh, Violet, Nathan and Gage Durig; and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call Friday, Oct. 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home, where the funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. Interment will be at a later date in Shauck Cemetery.
