MANSFIELD — John J. Graf, 89, died Oct. 19, 2011, in Liberty Nursing Center, Mansfield.
John was born in Schondarf, Austria-Hungry, on Jan. 21, 1922, and immigrated to the U.S. in 1923. For two years he was employed at Westinghouse. On July 25, 1942, he married Audrey M. Beck, and was drafted two months later into the Air Force. He returned to Westinghouse, until retiring 1984.
Survived by wife, Audrey M. (Beck) Graf; daughters, Marilyn Kurtzman of Mansfield and Betty Griffith of Indiana; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents; and brother, Peter Graf.
Friends will be received Friday from 4-7 p.m., in the Finefrock Chapel of the Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home, where vigil service will begin at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Peters Catholic Church. The Rev. Father Tom McQuillen will be celebrant. Burial will follow in Mansfield Catholic Cemetery.
