ZEBULON, N.C. — Tammy Mossholder passed away at age 48 on Oct. 12, 2011, in her home in Zebulon, N.C.
Tammy was born Aug. 28, 1963, at Mercy Hospital in Mount Vernon, Ohio. She attended St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School. From an early age, she had an independent spirit. She was always considered “Daddy’s girl,” and told her children many stories of her father. She lived many places and was a traveler. Wherever Tammy went, she found good friends. She had a kind and giving heart, and would often sacrifice in order to give and help others. Her greatest accomplishments were her two children, Brice and Justin Mossholder. She made sure that both knew they were greatly loved by her. Tammy was also an AMVETS member.
Tammy was preceded in death by her father, John Mossholder; paternal grandparents, Floyd and Ethel Mossholder; and maternal grandparents, C.L. and Ann Spencer.
She is survived by her two sons, Brice Mossholder and wife, Beth Mossholder; son, Justin Mossholder and grandson, Jaxson Mossholder; sister, Ann Mossholder; nieces, Casey Greer and Billie “Allie” Greer; brother, Father Francis Mossholder; mother, Phyllis Mezzano; uncle, Jim Mossholder and family; partner, Les Gump; and many cherished friends.
