MANSFIELD — Kathy Foster, 42, died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011, in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital.
Born Melvia Kathleen Fluharty on Aug. 9, 1969, in Shelby, she remained a lifelong Mansfield resident. She had worked with TeleFlex, and only recently accepted a position with HMG, assisting the hospitalists in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital.
Survived by her fiancé, Randy Powell; son, Aaron McFadden; her mother, Florence Fluharty; brother, Virgle Joe Fluharty; sister, Karen Scott; and aunt, Betty Flannery.
Preceded in death by her father, Virgle Gordon Fluharty.
Friends may call Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Finefrock Chapel of the Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home, 350 Marion Ave., where funeral service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. Pastor John Harris will officiate. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
