LUCAS — Mary Jane Fulton, 92, passed away Oct. 30, 2011.
She was born Dec. 12, 1918, to Enoch and Crete Smith in Lucas. She worked as a bookkeeper for a number of years at Lucas Equity. After her husband, Merle H. Fulton (married in 1942) returned from World War II, they spent the rest of their lives on the Fulton family farm outside of Lucas.
She is survived by son, Merle D. (Jana) Fulton of South Gulf Cove, Fla.; granddaughter, Gina (Aloys) Kamwithi, who made their home with her; daughter-in-law, Ann K. Fulton of Lucas; granddaughters, Renee’ (Steve) Smith and Rebecca (David) Gongwer; four great-grandchildren.
Deceased are her parents, husband and two infant sons.
The family will receive friends Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. in Pleasant Valley Lutheran Church on Pleasant Valley Road, Lucas, where her memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Graveside committal service will follow on the family farm.
