MOUNT VERNON — H. Maxine Antill, 85, of Yauger Road, Mount Vernon, passed away Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, at the Emeritus at HillenVale in Mount Vernon.
She was born May 24, 1926, in Coshocton to the late Harold and Bessie (Lewis) Kaser. Maxine was a member of the Brandon Baptist Church. She enjoyed outdoor activities such as camping and hiking and she always loved the challenge of completing a good jigsaw puzzle. Maxine was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by many.
She is survived by her children, Carol Satterfield of Mount Vernon, Ron Antill of Mount Vernon and Tim (Debby) Antill of Parma; six grandchildren, Gayle (Tim) Satterfield Rieder, Michelle (Kevin) Buchheit, Brian Antill, Kristy (Chris) Mortimer, Christopher Antill and Margaret Antill; five great-grandchildren, Kendall Mortimer, Mia Rieder, Audrey Rieder, Karlynn Mortimer and Caius Buchheit; and a sister, Dorothy Kaser of Warsaw.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Antill; a son-in-law, Bobby Satterfield; and a daughter-in-law, Sandra Antill.
Friends may call Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 E. High St., Mount Vernon, where a funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Marvin Haught will be officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
