BELLVILLE — Maybel F. Oyler, 89, of Bellville, passed away Nov. 3, 2011, in Country Club Nursing Center.

Maybel was born Feb. 22, 1922, in Bellville, the daughter of John and Ida May (Evans) Watson, and graduated from Bellville High School. On Feb. 7, 1942, she married Raymond Oyler. For over 30 years Maybel worked in Mansfield as secretary for Boy Scouts of America.

Surviving are daughter, Diana Ferguson of Bellville; granddaughters, Becky (Johnny) Mitchell, Pam (Russ) Knoblock, and Carrie Buskirk; seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents; and husband, Raymond Oyler.

Funeral service will be Tuesday at noon in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon. The Rev. Dr. Beverly Hall will officiate; burial will follow in Bellville Cemetery.

Memorial contributions to Hospice of Knox County may be made through the funeral home.
