DANVILLE — Arlene M. Sellers, 80, of rural Danville, died Tuesday morning, Nov. 8, in Elmcroft of Ontario, following a short illness. Mrs. Sellers was born Feb. 18, 1931, in West Lodi, the daughter of the late Thurman and Goldie (Manbeck) Mittower. Mrs. Sellers was a 1949 graduate of Thompson High School and a graduate of Maumee Valley School of Nursing, Toledo. She was a registered nurse retiring in 1996 from Colonial Manor Health Care Center, Loudonville, and had previously worked in Labor and Delivery of Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon. She attended Jelloway United Methodist Church. Arlene enjoyed gardening, sewing, needlework and caring for her lawn. On Nov. 14, 1953, she married Robert J. Sellers and he died June 3, 2002.

She is survived by her daughter, Beth (Dale) Sellers-Johnson of Lucas; her son, Randy (Lori) Sellers of Stilwell, Kan.; four grandchildren, Ronnie Levindofske of Gardner, Kan., Nicole (fiancé, Dan Kristoff) Johnson of Saginaw, Texas, Patrick Johnson of Lucas, and Alex Villers of Stilwell, Kan.; two great-grandchildren, Kylie and Amia Levindofske; her brother, Calvin (Marge) Mittower of Fremont; and her sister, Marge (Karl) Wohlfarth of Toledo. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and a half brother, Edmund Mittower.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 12, at 11 a.m. in Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home, Loudonville, with the Rev. Tim Storms officiating. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in Fireside Cemetery, Fireside, Ohio, (south of Bellevue). Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
