BUTLER — Phyllis Christine Daugherty, 81, of Butler, passed away Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011, in Riverside Methodist Hospital.

She was born Sept. 3, 1930, in Mansfield the daughter of Peter and Christine (Morganstern) Seeburger. On Oct. 28, 1949, she married William R. Daugherty, who preceded her in death. Phyllis worked at Therm-O-Disc and left employment there to care for her children.

She is survived by daughters, Sheila Counts of Butler and Lisa Daugherty of Mansfield; two grandchildren, William Troy Counts and Leah Marie Daugherty (Lon Aurand); three great-grandchildren; niece who was like a sister, Joyce Johnson; her Scotty dog, Lexee.

Also deceased are sisters, Mary Jane Daugherty and Betty Graszl.

A graveside service will be Nov. 18, at 2 p.m. in Bellville Cemetery. Her grandson, Troy Counts, will speak.
