MOUNT VERNON — Treva M. Talbott, 88, of Mount Vernon, passed away Saturday morning, Nov. 12, 2011, at the Country Club Retirement Campus in Mount Vernon.

She was born June 16, 1923, in Mount Vernon, daughter of the late Fred and Grace (Welsh) Heffelfinger. Treva was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Mount Vernon. She retired from the Knox County Career Center.

Treva is survived by her sons, Larry (Kathy Lester) Talbott and David (Jan) Talbott, both of Mount Vernon; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Patricia (Richard) Rine of Mount Vernon; and brothers, Richard (Frances) Heffelfinger and Donald (Linda) Heffelfinger, both of Mount Vernon.

In addition to her parents, Treva was preceded in death by her husband, Glendon Talbott, in 1978; three sisters and two brothers.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Nov. 19, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Mount Vernon, with the Rev. Father Mark J. Hammond as the celebrant. Inurnment will have taken place in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Mount Vernon.
