BUTLER — Ronald A. “Ron” Stevens, 70, passed away Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011, in his rural Butler home.

Ron was born March 28, 1941, the son of Archie and Geraldine (Leedy) Stevens. Farming was Ron’s life. Ron also worked for Hi-Lo Trailer for over 40 years, retiring at the age of 62. He was a member of the Richland County Farm Bureau and Cattleman’s Association.

Surviving are brother, Roger (Sharon) Stevens of Butler; nephews and niece, Tom Stortz and Tim Stortz of Butler, Mark (Melissa) Stevens of Westerville, and Sherri (Giovanni) Greco of Seattle, Wash.; great-nephews and great-niece.

In addition to his parents, deceased is sister, Mary Lou Stortz.

Friends may call Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be Monday at 11 a.m. Pastor Ken Kinlely will officiate. Burial will follow in Bunkerhill Cemetery.
