BELLVILLE — Edward E. Litt, 62, passed away in his rural Bellville home Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011.
Ed was born Sept. 7, 1949, in Mount Vernon, the son of Ralph and Mildred (Gilbert) Litt. Ed earned his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from The Ohio State University. On June 24, 1972, he married Catherine L. Erhard. For over 30 years Ed worked for Richland Engineering as a civil engineer and was currently project engineer.
He is survived by son, Jason (Amber) Litt of Bellville; daughter, Stacy (Joshua) McFadden of Bellville; two grandchildren; mother, Mildred Litt of Fredericktown; brother, Terry (Liz) Litt of Cleveland; sister, Dalene (Duke) Carpenter of Fredericktown; nieces, nephews.
Along with his father, Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine L. Litt.
Funeral service was Nov. 14, with burial in Owl Creek Cemetery. Snyder Funeral Home, Bellville, assisted the family of Edward Litt.
