MOUNT VERNON — Anne C. Hillier, 58, of Mount Vernon, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011, at Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon.
She was born Aug. 23, 1953, in Mount Vernon, to the late Wayne and Nanna (Tucker) Hillier. Anne was a 1971 graduate of Mount Vernon High School, and in June of 1972, she hired on at First-Knox National Bank where she was employed as an Administrative Assistant in the Investment Department. Anne was an active member of the Dogwood Blossoms Chapter of Sweet Adelines International. After losing her mother to cancer, Anne had played an active role with Relay for Life and she was a member of the Grace Community Church.
She is survived by her sister, Carolyn (Ronald) Andras of Strongsville; two nieces, Kristen (Jason) Niedermeyer of Strongsville, Lauren (Dante) Terzigni of Strongsville; three great-nieces and nephews, Jackson and Jensen Niedermeyer and Luca Terzigni.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 E. High St., Mount Vernon, where a funeral service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. Pastor Roger Tickle will be officiating. Burial will follow in Mound View Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Anne’s name may be made to Relay for Life and can be left at the funeral home.
