MANSFIELD — Reta J. Barzanti, 81, of Mansfield, passed away Nov. 23, 2011, in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital.
She was born Jan. 7, 1930, in Bobtown, Pa., to Elias E. and Roseline C. (Myers) Price, and moved to Mansfield with her sister, Ruth, at the age 19 to find work. On Oct. 26, 1950, she married Albert “Al” Barzanti. Reta worked at Therm-O-Disc for over 14 years, and at Neisner’s Five and Dime.
Surviving in addition to her husband are three children, Bonnie Fry of Bellville, Bruce Barzanti and Beverly Schopp of Mansfield; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Deceased are sisters, Emily Work and Ruth Cetinich; brothers, Robert and Richard Price.
Visitation is Sunday, 2-5 p.m., Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be Monday at 11 a.m. Frank Moore will speak; burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
