LANCASTER, Calif. — Robert Dennis Nauman, 78, of Lancaster, Calif., died recently after a long illness.
Bob was born in Fredericktown, the son of the late Robert Lee and Faye (Ewers) Nauman. He graduated from Fredericktown High School in the Class of 1951, and attended The Ohio State University for one year. Bob enlisted in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and served for three years. He then returned to The Ohio State University and graduated with a degree in Agriculture. After graduation he worked for the Firestone Co. in Liberia, Africa.
He moved to California where he met the love of his life, Jane McRae. They were married in Santa Barbara, Calif., this year celebrating 48 years of marriage.
Bob worked for the county of Los Angeles as a real estate appraiser for 30 years.
Bob was a good man who is survived by his wife, Jane; two brothers, Richard of Columbus and David (Jeanie) of Mansfield; a sister, Kathryn Williams of Fredericktown; and many nieces and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gerald Nauman; sister-in-law, JoAnne Nauman; and brother-in-law, Bill Williams.
