SANDUSKY — Robert E. Black, 76, of Sandusky and formerly of Bellville, died Nov. 28, 2011, in the Ohio Veterans Home.
He was born Nov.18, 1935, in Bellville, the son of Wallace and Mary (Dow) Black.
Robert worked with the carnival and as a janitor.
Robert served in the U.S Navy during Korea.
Robert is survived by a daughter Brenda Lee, a brother, Larry Black of Bellville; a sister and brother-in-law Beverly and Robert Young of Bellville; a sister-in-law, Carolyn (Black) and her husband, Kelson Dearth of Bellville; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jerry Black, and several aunts, uncles, a niece and two nephews.
