MANSFIELD — Dolphis McKinley Keen, 82, of Mansfield died Dec. 16, 2011, in MedCentral Hospital.

He was born Aug. 10, 1929, in Buckhannon County, Va., to Beve and Aliefair (Cordill) Keen. A U.S. Army veteran, Dolphis served overseas during the Korean War. On May 20, 1954, he married Hazel F. Shelton, who preceded him in death in 1997. He worked at Flxible Co. of Loudonville, retiring in 1990.

Surviving are a son, Larry (Debra) Keene of Loudonville; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandhcildren; and brother, Estel Keen of Buckhannon County, Va.

In addition to his wife, deceased are two sons, Calvin E. Keene and George M. Keene; granddaughter, Amber Rae Netherton; and three sisters, Heddi Short, Vinne Stillwill and Dell Profit.

Visitation is today from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home, where the funeral will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow in Bellville Cemetery.
