NEWARK — Daniel C. Fulton, 59, of Newark, passed away Dec. 25, 2011, at the Selma Markowitz Hospice Care Center. He was born Oct.14, 1952, in Toledo, to the late Ohlen and Mary Katherine (Shanks) Fulton.

He was a drivers salesman supervisor for Matesich Distributing Co.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Mary R. (Toeppe) Fulton, whom he married Dec. 5, 1970; children, Scott (Heidi) Fulton, Brett Fulton, and Breanna (fiancé, Roy Gibson) Fulton, all of Newark; granddaughter, Brin Fulton of Newark; brothers, Jack (Ruth) Fulton of Newark and Richard (Rose) Fulton of Toledo, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Daniel was a U.S. Marine Veteran. He was an avid golfer, shuffleboard player and enjoyed the time he has spent with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Fulton.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, with David Hallenbeck officiating. Burial will follow in Newark Memorial Gardens Cemetery, where military honors will be conducted by the Licking County Veterans Alliance. Following the graveside service, there will be a gathering of friends and family at the Eastern Bar and Grill.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio, P.O. Box 430, Newark, OH 43058-0430.
