SUNBURY — Margaret Rachel Fete, 65, of Sunbury, passed away Dec. 24, 2011.
The daughter of the late Russell and Anita Stewart Fete, she was a professor of Modern Romance Languages at Ohio Wesleyan University. She earned undergraduate degree at The University of Colorado-Boulder; masters degrees at Wesleyan University, Middletown, Conn., and Middlebury College, Middlebury, Vt.; and Ph.D. at Ohio State University. She completed post-Doctoral studies at University Paris-Sorbonne.
Surviving are children, Tatiana and Will Fete; a granddaughter; sister, Charlene Lange; brother, Robert Fete; nieces, Denise O’Neill, Brenda Roberts, Myra, Anita and Emma Fete; grandnephew, Austin Roberts; special cousins, Jean Pierre and Simone Fete, and their children, Celine, Vincente and Alexandra.
Visitation will be Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to noon, Condit United Presbyterian Church, 15102 Hartford Road, Sunbury, with memorial service at noon. Rev. John M. Zuercher officient.
