MANSFIELD — James J. “Jim” Crahen, 88, of Mansfield, died Dec. 26, 2011, in OSU Medical Center.
Jim was born Sept. 28, 1923, in Cleveland, to James and Angela (Leidman) Crahen. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. On May 6, 1950, he married Joan Summers. Jim retired from Hartman Spreng.
Surviving are daughter, Kathy White; son, Rob (Mariah) Crahen; daughter-in-law, Gayle Crahen; four grandchildren; sister, Angela Carolin.
Preceded in death by wife, Mary Joan Crahen; son, John Raymond Crahen; granddaughter, Jennifer White; son-in-law, Rick White; brothers, Vince, Ray, Frank Crahen; sister, Rosemary Crahen.
Visitation will be Friday, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home, where funeral will be at 6:30 p.m. Celebrant is Jerry Wilson. Burial will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in Mansfield Memorial Park.
