SUNBURY — Daniel “Dan” Leaf, 59, of Sunbury, passed away Friday, Dec. 30, 2011, at OSU Medical Center.
He was born June 18, 1952, in Columbus and was a 1970 graduate of Northland High School. A Sunbury area resident for the past 25 years, he retired from Ohio Bell, where he worked as a repairman. Dan also operated Dantel Phone Co.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Cherie (Green); son, Brian of Johnstown; daughter, Jody (Scott) Duncan of Cardington; grandchildren, Allyson, Gage and Mason.
Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Ohio 3 at Ohio 61, Sunbury, where service will follow Wednesday at 2 p.m., with Celebrant Don Lockwood officiating.
