MOUNT VERNON — Milo L. Wolfe, 70, a lifelong resident of Mount Vernon, passed away Jan. 3, 2012, at his residence.

He was born March 13, 1941, in Mount Vernon to Dale D. and Martha (Higgins) Wolfe.

Milo is survived by two sons, Michael Wolfe of Howard and Joe Sevits of Mount Vernon; three daughters, Melissa (Regan) Traywick and Heather Sevits, both of Montgomery, Ala. and Daunette Rebell of Mount Vernon; a sister, Marlene (Joe) Cella of Martinsburg; his roommate, Linda Wagner of Mount Vernon; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a stepdaughter, Andrea Sevits; brother, John Wolfe; and his grandparents, Clem and Nita Wolfe.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Milo will be held Saturday at 5:30 p.m. at Bullock’s on West High Street. The Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home in Mount Vernon assisted the family with arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home.

The family wishes to give a special thanks to Hospice of Knox County and the Academy Nurses for all the care they gave to Milo during his illness.
