LANCASTER — Lorie Arlene (Turbeville) Martin, 41, of Lancaster, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, at her home in Lancaster.

Lorie was born Nov. 12, 1970, in Mount Vernon and was the daughter of Delphia May and Larry Turbeville.

In addition to her parents, Lorie is survived by her sons, Bryan McWhorter, Charles McWhorter, Daniel McWhorter, Richard Turbeville and Christian Turbeville; a sister, Cindy (Turbeville) Rice of Killbuck; brothers, Bill Turbeville of Mount Vernon, Rick Turbeville of Danville and Jessie Turbeville Jr. of Mount Vernon; her stepdad, Garland Fletcher of Mount Vernon; brother-in-law, Leonard Rice of Killbuck; several nieces and nephews; and very good friends, Richard Novo and Erin Novo of Lancaster.

Lorie was preceded in death by her husband, Tim Martin.

Lorie was native and loved the river and the outdoors. She will be deeply missed.

At Lorie’s request, there will be no calling hours. There will be a private service for the family at a later date.
